Join The Silver Key Tattoo and Foundation 2 Crisis Services for The Story Continues, a special semicolon tattoo event supporting suicide prevention, mental health awareness, hope, and healing.
The semicolon represents a moment when a story could have ended—but continued instead. Whether your tattoo honors your own journey, celebrates someone you love, or reminds you to keep going, we invite you to be part of this meaningful event.
Date: Thursday, September 10, 2026 (World Suicide Prevention Day)
Time: Noon–7:00 p.m.
Location: The Silver Key Tattoo
735 Federal St., Suite 101
Davenport, Iowa
Tattoo pricing: $100 for each tattoo
Appointments: Walk-ins only—no appointments or advance reservations
Age requirement: You must be 18 or older with a valid, government-issued photo ID.
50% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Foundation 2 Crisis Services, helping support its important work in crisis prevention and intervention.
By choosing a tattoo during this event, you’re not only carrying a meaningful symbol with you—you’re also helping support people in our community during some of their most difficult moments.
We’re bringing together an incredible group of resident and guest artists for this special event.
We’re excited to welcome Autumn Sulouff Perry and Hayle Strobel from The Happy Cat Tattoo.
This is a walk-in-only event. Tattoos will be completed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Select from a special collection of semicolon-inspired flash designs created for the event. Designs include symbols of hope, strength, kindness, resilience, healing, and new beginnings.
Designs will be tattooed as shown.

The flash sheet is printed on a 13 × 19 inch page. Feel free to stop by the studio to see the actual tattoo sizes in person. Some designs may be able to go a little smaller upon request, and you’re welcome to choose an ink color other than black.
Eat a full meal, drink plenty of water, and avoid alcohol before getting tattooed. Wear clothing that allows your artist to easily reach the desired placement.
Don’t forget your valid photo ID.
If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis or thoughts of suicide, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. If there is immediate danger, call 911.
